The Individual & Family Care in Värnamo Municipality is part of the Citizen Administration where we work within various types of authority exercise, outpatient care, HVB, as well as labor market, integration, and leisure.

In the Employment and Support section, there are 12 social workers, 11 coordinators, 1 budget and debt advisor, 2 social workers dealing with domestic violence, 2 team leaders, and 1 unit manager. We are looking for someone interested in working with financial assistance and collaborating with the coordinators to help our clients achieve self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities

The work with financial assistance involves working in a team with coordinators. You actively work to ensure that those seeking financial assistance achieve self-sufficiency. The job also includes qualified investigative work characterized by good communication, well-founded decisions, and high legal security, as well as conducting active follow-up work on cases. The work also includes providing advice and support to municipal residents and maintaining close cooperation with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another equivalent higher education. Experience in the field is an advantage.

We believe that you have knowledge of and interest in financial assistance and social work. You communicate clearly and have good collaboration skills. Personal suitability will be given great importance.
